Canton Porcelain:

Chinese ceramics, mainly known for porcelain invented by the Chinese, has a long tradition of technical and stylistic innovations. Under the Qing dynasty, export to Europe expanded considerably. It was first Emperor Kangxi who launched the practice of gifts of porcelain to foreign rulers. Then the export developed, resulting in the appearance of forms and patterns to meet foreign demand, such as Canton porcelain (from the seventeenth century), made of colorful painted pieces in the port of the South from China on porcelain made in Jingdezhen.
