<<<<<< PRETOT Hippolyte-Edme (1812-1855), born in Paris; he married Cyrille-Joséphine Leclercq. He worked successively at 16, rue de l'Abbaye in 1836, 11bis, rue Saint-Germain des Près in 1841, and from 1846 on 3 and 5, rue du Harlay. Shortly after his death, Frédéric Roux bought his business, which was managed in the meantime by cabinet maker Bassié. He participated in the exhibition in 1849, and in the London Exhibition in 1852, where he obtained a second class medal for his inlaid furniture.>>>>
